Electroplating: Plating thickness is directly proportional to the integration of current over a period of time. The preset Amp-Hr or Amp-Min limit ensures precision repeatability and uniformity of the plating thickness guaranteeing quality and avoiding wastage of material. Time controlled dosage pumps allow automation. Hence where there is a criticality of thickness of plating and uniformity is required, Ampere Hour/Minute Meter is the solution. For example, gold plating, rhodium plating, platinum plating etc.
Battery Testing: The instrument integrates the current while allowing the charged battery to discharge through a load until the battery voltage falls below the specified limit (10.5V for a 12V battery), to give a measure of the AH rating of the battery.
We offer model 800AH programmable amp-hour meter, that is used for electroplating thickness control and testing battery Amp-Hr. These meters are available with 6 RED 7 Segment LEDs of 0.56” character height. However, the current display is fixed at Max 9999 Amps using a shunt of current & 75mV for user programmed.
